Cub - Eagan North

This cub completely blows. First off, they carry like half the items that a normal cub carries. I can’t even count how many times I’ve gone there and they don’t have what I need. Stuff that I could normally find at any grocery store in America. Second, there’s been many instances where I get off work and stop in to pick up dinner and half the store is roped off because they’re “waxing” the floor”. I’m not a 3rd shift worker either. I only work till about 10pm most nights, so how about you wait till 2-3am before you close half the store to wax your nasty poop stained floors. The place is depressing, smelly, they only carry one brand or flavor of normal products, and half the time I can’t even settle for a crappy frozen pizza because your ugly store feels the need to close half of it twice a week for waxing. But thank the heavens you spent 3 months giving your hunk of shit building a new sign and a paint job. You guys suck

Since I've been burned by hours not being updated, I called the number listed to make sure the store is in fact open. I called 3 times. Why? Because there is a recording that picks up when you call to tell you the store is closed. If it is open, the phone will ring. Well, it rang and rang. I tried a second time and I heard someone pick up and rustle with the phone and then hang up. I am begging you to take the time to go through your locations listed on here and update the hours. Update the contact info. Update the staff. It's really frustrating to have to drive all over hell and gone to get a 24hr grocery store but it's worse when someone ignores you for whatever reason. Is the store open or not? Guess I'll never know. If you weren't the only game in town I would shop literally anywhere else. I genuinely despise being forced to shop here, at any location. It's really one of the worst stores in the cities and I have no idea how it's held on for as long as it has with horrible staff, expired food, bad service, and incorrect information listed. Good grief. I'm gonna hit post and call one more time. If they answer, I'll edit my review. Lord help me if they're rude....

Being one of the last 24-hour Cub foods in the cities, it's stocked up real well. It's never too extremely busy and the lines go fast and it's pretty quiet. It's a very nice Cub foods However the staff can be also rude. At times,. I typically do call them out on it but they are still rude.,..

I received a coupon for free carrots or bulk carrots (1.99) with purchase over $20. I made sure to with produce on the coupon and carrots, my purchase totaled $33 and sum change. To have to debate with the front end manager and store manager on using a coupon and its WORDING that clearly states the above...is insane! I was told I couldn't use it by the front end manager(who was loud, obnoxious, challenging her staff, and slammed a basket down to the ground in a childlike tantrum over a $1.99 coupon) because I didn't have $20 in produce. The coupon said $20 purchase, not $20 in produce. The store manager seemed a bit offended and stated it can't be the same purchase. It didn't say that either. I will say is not the first time I've received this type of response or attitude from this person at the front end. It feels racially motivated, though I sincerely hope not. I am definitely thinking harder about taking my business across the bridge to HYVEE! Their staff is always kind and helpful. On another note, the guy in produce at Cubs is the true Rockstore, genuine and helpful!!! Through this entire ordeal it felt like a humiliation ritual. He was the positive out the experience. And

Cub foods is generally a pretty high quality operation. Not so with this one. This one is probably the worst grocery store in Eagan. Consistently horrible produce, high prices, the shelves often go unstocked, and the butcher will always steer you to the cheapest, fattiest cut of meat available. Today, there was bread on the shelves that was just riddled with mold, gross!! I believe today was my last time shopping at this store, there are two more Cub foods in the south of Eagan that are both much much better. But it's open 24 hours so it's got that going for it.
